Posted 06/26/2016 1976 Corvette Coupe, SURVIVOR 350ci/180hp, M21/4-speed, 30,748 original miles. Extremely nice and very original unmolested survivor quality all numbers matching Corvette. I23 Built April 23, 1976 69L Dark Brown Metallic exterior 642 Buckskin Leather interior Exterior: The paint is all original and shows extremely well. The front and rear bumpers are original to the car and in excellent condition. There are a few blemishes and paint chips but it is 40 years old. The stainless trim is near perfect condition. The chrome door handles and mirror shine very well, but they do have some light pitting. The glass is in great condition and all date codes match and correspond with the build date of the car. The weather stripping is original and still in very good condition. Interior: The interior is all original and in great condition. The door panels and dash are very nice with no cracks. The carpet is very nice as well. All the interior lights and gauges work properly except for the clock. Overall the interior is really nice and original. Drivetrain/Chassis: The engine, transmission and rear end are original to the car and all are in proper working order. The engine bay is all original with the exception of a few items being painted by the previous owner. All the wiring and vacuum lines are original and in the proper order. The original Rochester carburetor was recently rebuilt, it is the correct carburetor for the car with the correct date codes. New Delco brake calipers were installed at all 4 corners within the last year. The frame is rust and accident free. I purchased the car about a year ago from the second owner, who owned the car for 32 years. I planned to keep the car forever, unfortunately my plans have changed. The car runs and drives great. Everything on the car functions as it should with the exception of the emergence brake and the clock. I am the owner and I have the clear IL title in my name. The car is located in Marshall, IL 62441.
